Afric’Edu : installing computers in a school in an under-developed country.
ACT (Association d’Aide aux Cités de Transit) : voluntary school help in the Lyon area.
Putting into practice the skills learnt in class, in a fun way.
Robotics : designing a robot to enter the competition E=M6, 24-hour festival at INSA (Engineering school in Lyon).
Eco Marathon Shell : designing a prototype vehicle to cover a maximum distance with one litre of petrol.
FEN : informing students about nuclear power (visit to power stations, invitations to conferences ..)
IA : participating in Automobile Shows (Salon of Geneva) and visiting vehicle-manufacturing sites (Bugatti, Renault trucks...).
ECAM relay : organising a 3-day race in which the participants take turns to run during the day and night on a different route each year (650 Km on average) in order to raise money for a humanitarian association.
Gala : organising the Ecam Gala (800 participants : former and present students, friends and teachers…)
Skiing : enabling students to go skiing for 30€/day (transport, ski-pass, snack included)
Sports office : organising sporting events between schools and negotiating reduced prices to use sporting infrastructures...
Theatre : offering the students the possibility to follow theatre classes and to present a play at the end of the year to audiences on and off the campus.
Bar : providing service and upkeep of the student’s union.
Music : setting up a band and taking advantage of the student’s union to perform in public, thanks to a specially-equipped room.
Circus acts : allowing budding circus artists to train and perform.
Press : writing articles for the “A4 sheet” to keep the students informed of the different activities taking place each month.
Poker : organising poker tournaments with other schools and between ECAM students.
Chaplaincy : bringing together catholic students to participate in discussions and activities (week-end in Taizé). The chaplaincy offers the possibility for the young people to reflect on their faith and share moments together.

The school is situated in the heart of Lyon, on the Fourvière hill, just above the old quarter of Lyon in an attractive setting with a superb view over Lyon and the Alps.
