This association was set up in 1906 in accordance with the French law of 1901 governing non-profit organizations. Its head office is in Paris and it is administered by a board of directors. There are over 4000 members in 17 different regional groups.

Its mission 

The objectives of the ECAM Engineers’ Association are : 

• to promote the engineering degree within companies
• to develop links and collaboration between members
• to enable ECAM Engineers to develop their careers and find employment
• to support the school in its everyday activities and its evolution.

The BALIE group in Lyon

BALIE is a Lyon-based group devoted to fostering links between engineers and engineering students. It was created in 2001 by the Lyon Regional group which thanks to its geographical proximity to ECAM enjoys a privileged link with the school and its students.

ECAM and BALIE work in close collaboration . BALIE works in an advisory capacity with the students. Its role is to orient and help students during their studies through the development of their skills and to launch their professional lives.

This association is a member of the National Council of French Engineers and Researchers and of the CECAM.
