Foreign students are welcome to enroll at ECAM for:

• a period of one semester to two years, in the case of a partnership between ECAM and the student’s home university
• a period of 2 years or the full engineering program, in the absence of a partnership agreement
• an Advanced Master’s degree
• the International Summer School in Science and Engineering, which is organized every year in June and July

Exchange program with partner universities

The language used at ECAM is French and the school year is organized in two semesters.

• 1st semester from the beginning of September (or beginning of October depending on the school year) to the end of January.
• 2nd semester from the beginning of February to the end of June.

> Semester or year of studies

A semester or year at ECAM is open to students with 3 or 4 years of undergraduate studies or equivalent and a good level in French. These students complete one semester or a full year of lecture classes, practical work and projects in the 4th or 5th year of the engineering program. They validate their year at ECAM with credits within the framework of the ERASMUS exchange program for countries within the European Union.

• Request to be made at home university who will transfer applications to ECAM :

• At the latest by 15th March to follow the 1st semester or a full year of studies
• At the latest by 15th October to follow the 2nd semester

> Double Degree

In accordance with conditions established between ECAM and the home university, the students must complete 2 years of study at ECAM. They take three semesters of classes in the 4th and 5th year and carry out an internship in a company or in a laboratory in the final semester. Through the credit transfer system they obtain the ECAM Marsters Degree in Engineering and the Diploma from their home university. An advanced level in French is required.

> One-semester laboratory project

Proposed to Master’s students who must carry out a research project as part of their home university program. This project can be completed entirely in English if the student does not have the necessary level in French.

• Request to be made at the home university who will transfer applications to ECAM :

• At the latest by 15 March for the 1st semester
• At the latest by 15 October for the 2nd semester

Outside an exchange programme

> A two-year graduate program leading to the ECAM Master’s Degree in Engineering

Open to graduate level students with a Bachelor’s Degree «with Honors» or equivalent, with a very good level in French. The admission procedure will be adapted to the candidate. Students follow the 4th and 5th year of studies at ECAM.

In some cases, it may be necessary for the student to enroll in the 3rd year, depending on his or her academic background.

Application must be filed directly through ECAM by 1st April at the latest preceding the school year for which admission is requested.

> Full cycle of studies in either 5 years or 3 years (after 2 years of "Classes préparatoires", intensive undergraduate program)

« International Summer School in Science and Engineering »

Every summer since 2004, ECAM has proposed an « International Summer School in Science and Engineering ». It is an excellent opportunity to enjoy a truly international experience in a French "Grande Ecole" / Graduate School of Engineering, to learn or improve French language skills while at the same time developing scientific skills.
