The ECAM Foundation is a non-profit-making organisation, according to the French decree of 27 July 1977. Its aim is to ensure intellectual, scientific and technical training for young men and women destined for engineering careers and more generally for those wishing to acquire knowledge in science and technology.

The main goal is to prepare engineers with a solid background in Mechanical Engineering, coupled with scientific and technical skills in the fields of Electrical Engineering and Automation, Production and Information technology.

The ECAM Foundation administers all activities of the school. Donations from individuals and companies contribute to the investments for its development.

 Composition of the ECAM Foundation Board of Directors

The Foundation is administered by a seventeen-member Board :
Seven elected members, who are chosen for their experience in the fields of activity connected with the ECAM Foundation.

The role of the President
Assisted by the Board of Directors, the president manages the development policy of the school. He represents the ECAM Foundation in board meetings where ECAM is involved (CECAM, IPL, Université Catholique et ITII) and in government bodies.
He is responsible for the management of Foundation funds and expenditure. He co-signs the diplomas with the director who is delegated to deal with daily affairs.
Since the 4 February 1998, the President of the ECAM Foundation is Mr Pierre Moulié, Inspecteur Général d’Electricité de France.
