The French Apprenticeship Tax allows companies to participate in the funding of professional training by opting to financially help those schools which train their future engineers and executives.

With its private status and receiving only a minimal state subsidy, ECAM must rely on its own actions for funds. Therefore, in order to function and survive, the school is largely dependant on contributions from the French Apprenticeship Tax.
Without this contribution, and without lowering the high standard of training, the cost of tuition would be too great a burden for the families of our future engineers.
Distribution of financial resources
For ECAM, the Apprenticeship Tax covers 35% of the cost of training an engineer : a vital element and totally essential.
Annual cost of training an ECAM student-engineer in 2005 : 9 925 € (parental contribution in 2006 : 4100 €)
