ECAM Lyon guides students through the process of managing and creating their business project during their studies. Since 2015, numerous projects have taken shape in different fields such as medical, sport, and technology.
ECAM Lyon aims to assist project leaders who want to place a strong emphasis on technology to change industry for the better. To reach this goal ECAM Lyon’s incubator hosts mostly start-ups with a focus on blending technology and healthcare. The ECAM Lyon incubator provides start-ups with professors and professionals to guide them through every step. Participation, sharing, solidarity and the importance of giving back to the community are ECAM Lyon values that are easily shared by businesses.
ECAM Lyon accompagne des élèves-ingénieurs dans la conduite et la concrétisation de leurs projets entrepreneuriaux en parallèle de leurs études. Dès 2015, plusieurs projets ont pris corps dans différents domaines (médical, sportif, technologique…) etc.
Dédié aux porteurs de projets à forte dimension technologique, susceptibles de contribuer au renouveau de l’industrie, l’incubateur TECH360 de l’ECAM Lyon accueille notamment des start-up alliant technologie et santé. Il met à leur service un réseau de professeurs et accompagnants au quotidien. Engagement, partage, entraide, et la démarche « donner avant de recevoir »… les valeurs de l’ECAM Lyon s’affichent aussi dans l’entrepreneuriat.
Past and current projects include:
Medeo: Medeo created a tool to interface connected healthcare objects and healthcare information systems. Rémi-Jean Berger (EM Lyon) and Yacine Remini (ISTP – Mines Saint-Etienne) are at the forefront of this project. Medeo joined ECAM Lyon’s incubator in 2016 and won the Innovation prize from the Campus Création
competition in May, 2016.
Wuha: Two ECAM Lyon Class of 2014 graduates, Sacha Gallo-Parouty and Antonin Mathez, were the pioneers of ECAM Lyon’s entrepreneurship program. Their start- up, Wuha, aims to improve efficiency of digital companies by using an online interface that allows clients to quickly and easily search online files and associate
them to relevant links
Fasteesh: This project aims to simplify dental health by improving toothbrushes. It was started by Benjamin Cohen, an ENS Lyon graduate.
Waoup: This brainchild of two ECAM Lyon graduates, Emmanuel Gonon and Hervé Kleczewski, is the first crowd start-up factory to create the jobs of tomorrow. For them, ECAM Lyon was a natural fit for this new model. WAOUP uses a community to bring together their talents to create businesses and jobs while taking out the risks of entrepreneurship. Started in 2014, now over 150 talented individuals are in its community, WAOUP has already started other start-ups.
