These details must also be provided during administrative registration on the institution\u2019s online platform.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Registration for Year 3<\/strong>: Students should check the disability box when completing their online registration form and provide relevant medical documentation if applicable.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h3><span class=\"heading-5\">During the course of study<\/span><\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>At the Start of the academic year<\/strong>:<br \/>\nBefore the academic programme begins, students identified by the Student Life Service meet with the campus doctor, who reviews medical certificates or other documentation to recommend suitable accommodations. The Student Life Service coordinates the implementation of these accommodations with the relevant academic departments.<br \/>\nA second meeting with the campus\u2019s Student Life representative is scheduled during the first semester to address any additional concerns<\/li>\n<li><strong>Mid-year adjustments<\/strong>:<br \/>\nStudents who did not initially request accommodations, or whose health or disability circumstances change, can contact the Student Life Service at any time to reassess their needs and receive support.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3><span class=\"heading-5\">\u00a0<\/span><\/h3>\n<h3><span class=\"heading-5\">Exam periods<\/span><\/h3>\n<ol>\n<li><strong>Advance notification<\/strong>:<br \/>\nAt the start of the academic year, programme managers and the disability coordinator inform students about available exam accommodations, both orally and in writing.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Request processing<\/strong>:<br \/>\nThe disability coordinator assists students in preparing the necessary documentation, including obtaining a medical opinion. Accommodations may require adjustments to evaluation procedures. The disability coordinator, programme manager, and professors collaborate to define appropriate evaluation adaptations.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Communication<\/strong>:<br \/>\nStudents receive written confirmation of their approved exam accommodations.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Informing the evaluation jury<\/strong>:<br \/>\nProgramme managers notify evaluation jury members of the accommodations and any potential impacts on the exam process. Medical details remain confidential, and accommodations are not disclosed to other candidates. Students with disabilities can also participate in study or internship opportunities abroad. The International Relations Department works with the Student Life Service and teaching staff to prepare for the mobility experience, ensuring an appropriate assessment of the student&#8217;s academic and daily living needs.<\/p>\n<p>For some students, international mobility may not be feasible due to their disability. In such cases, alternative arrangements are made to complete their projects and training on campus. ECAM LaSalle continues to advise students on suitable destinations and available accommodations, recognizing the importance of collaboration to address the complexity of each situation
