Each case of disability—whether motor, cognitive, sensory, psychological, related to chronic illnesses, language disorders, or autism spectrum disorders—is assessed individually. A variety of accommodations are available, including:
Both teaching facilities and on-campus residences have been designed to ensure accessibility and safety. 70% of campus areas are accessible to individuals with reduced mobility (PRM).
International mobility is a mandatory part of the curriculum for all full-time ECAM LaSalle students. Students with disabilities can also participate in study or internship opportunities abroad. The International Relations Department works with the Student Life Service and teaching staff to prepare for the mobility experience, ensuring an appropriate assessment of the student’s academic and daily living needs.
For some students, international mobility may not be feasible due to their disability. In such cases, alternative arrangements are made to complete their projects and training on campus. ECAM LaSalle continues to advise students on suitable destinations and available accommodations, recognizing the importance of collaboration to address the complexity of each situation effectively.
