From the integrated preparatory cycles at ECAM LaSalle, students begin to develop the knowledge, skills and attitudes required of an engineer. These two preparatory years at ECAM Engineering are offered at two institutions in France. They provide a solid scientific foundation in scientific and cross-disciplinary subjects.
The programme allows students to enter the ECAM Engineering programme without having to take an entrance exam: assessment of acquired knowledge and admission to the engineering programme are based on continuous assessment.

During the second year, students discover four areas of specialisation, known as ‘pathways’. This specialisation will begin in the first year of the engineering programme and will thus form an integral part of the training course. Students discover these areas during workshops, which represent four weeks of the course.
