This program is only available to students from an ECAM Lyon partner institution.
Incoming student mobility
Exchange programs allow international students to study at ECAM Lyon for a semester or year as part of their program at their home university. As such, they need to take courses that correspond to their home university’s requirements for a similar point in their studies.
Depending on your university’s agreement with ECAM Lyon, you can take classes in one of the following programs:
- ECAM Arts & Métiers (General engineering) in French (minimum CEFR B1 Qualification in French)
- ECAM Engineering (focus on mechanical and electrical engineering) in English (minimum CEFR level B2 in English)
Please check with your home institution concerning minimum academic and linguistic requirements.
ECAM Lyon hosts international students for a semester or over the summer while they carry out a research project in one of our technical departments: Energy, Materials and Structures, IT and Automation, or Industrial Management. Supervised by a faculty professor, they work in French or in English (minimum CEFR level B2 in either language).
Research project students are integral members of the ECAM Lyon family. They can live in our on-campus residence halls and have an ECAM Lyon student buddy to help them navigate life in their new city and engineering school.
